I'm working on a new social networking site concentrating on community indicators. I'm looking for anyone who would like to help build this online community -- while coding help is nice, what I'm really looking for is people to test-drive the site and tell me what works and what doesn't and how I can make it easier to navigate, simpler to use, and more useful to gather and share conversations around community indicators.
If you're interested, come check out www.indicatorscommunity.com. The site is being built on an open source platform, which should give us more flexibility to make current changes and to add/adapt widgets and interface with other sites as we move forward.
I'd appreciate your feedback on the site. Specific suggestions can be made here or in the site development group on the site.
Thanks so much! We'll do a more formal launch later for those who want us to get it right before they join in. But I suspect there are a few readers of this blog that would be interested in being in on the ground floor of building an online community and helping set not just the tools but the community norms as we move forward.
If you have any questions about the project, please drop me an e-mail. Thanks again for your support.
